There is no better teacher than investing (and risking) your own money. For decades I’ve been buying, remodeling, operating, and selling properties to build my own income producing portfolio from scratch (65+ transactions so far). This extensive personal investing experience distinguishes me as a real estate broker with an incredibly deep understanding of all aspects of real estate.
 
 
Being an expert in real estate financing, development, and income properties serves my clients very well. Whether buying their first home, flipping properties, or improving their retirement portfolio I quickly provide well informed insights and perspectives so they can make their best moves. Properties I've owned have included primary residences, rentals, apartment buildings, strip malls, storage facilities, and nationally known single tenant (e.g., Staples & Chili's) triple net income (NNN) commercial buildings. Their locations span from the South Bay Area to Southern California, into the Midwest and to the East Coast. During both up and down markets I've profitably expanded my portfolio through various asset classes across the U.S. This demonstrates my prowess to diligently invest in real estate across the country under any circumstances. Ultimately, I learned by simply doing it!
 
I know construction from rebuilding 70,000 square feet of residential space I've owned (inside and out). Projects have included $1.3+ million remodels/expansions of my own homes as well as renovating/rehabilitating 50+ apartment units. By understanding how to cost effectively upgrade properties I instinctively recognize great deals others reject for minor imperfections (which are often simple to fix). This skill usually expands my buyers’ sets of potentially suitable properties. My sellers have also significantly profited by making improvements I suggested before selling. My many industry contacts make remodeling simpler for my clients too! I introduce them to skilled vendors appropriately suited for any project's scope.
